What's the worst part of going back to work after a holiday?
« on: January 04, 2016, 01:34:34 PM »
Been on holiday mostly since Christmas.  (technically worked 2 days last week but that hardly qualifies)

Mostly ready to be back.  There's some things I would have liked to have gotten done at home, but I was more lazy than normal this break, and that had it's own advantages, so nothing really to be too upset over.

I said getting up early, because I always resent that for whatever reason, regardless of how much I loved or hated my job.

I should have said- I'm retired, because I am.

But I had to get up early and get out of the house today because the cleaners came unexpectedly early. I didn't even put in my hearing aids before I left. No caffeine, either. It sux.

My alarm actually went off this morning (4:30 am).  That's rare.  I wasn't exactly still asleep at the time, just hadn't mustered the giddyup to get out of bed yet.

The Progenitor race appears to sense, and possibly even manipulate, local fields an untrained human cannot percieve without mechanical aid, including at the very least electricity and magnetism. This sensitivity creates entirely new worlds of artistic endeavors for the race- or it may be developed into a powerful combat awareness that can foil any attempt at surprise.
