The High Council of Gaia, considering that the building of the Planetary Transit System by the Pirates allows them to reach unlimited horizontal growth, decided to compensate this threat by consolidating our vertical growth.

Those aliens had no interest in establishing trade relations, and quickly went from forceful demands to outright agression.
