It's already 2167, I have quite a few forests but I still haven't seen any growth.
Is there anything in the code of our game stopping forests to spread? Has anybody seen it yet?

I don't remember in this game, but I use this copy for several other games where the forest spreads all right. For best results, try planting it in checkers, as it has equal chance of spreading to all adjacent tiles.

Bad news guys, I've just updated to the latest Ubuntu Linux and unfortunately, my graphics went down and are almost unreadable. I was able to make the turn but probably I'll need a replacement. TBH, I'm more of a very casual gamer lately and I'm not willing to force myself to play the game just for the sake of it. With the graphics going down I don't even feel like I want to bother with finding a solution or anything.

Sorry if that's disappointing and I did enjoy the game. I'm willing to make just few more turns until you are able to find a replacement. I believe that while my faction is week, I've build enough bases for anyone to take it from here.

Sometimes Linux just decides to ruin your fun. For example, my VMs stopped launching several days ago. if i wasn't running AC on wine, i would be unable to play at all...
