This isn't very original, and perhaps not very fitting...
But an RP thread might be beneficial if you're okay with those kinds of people hanging out here.
I really don't know any serious Roleplayers, so if they're weird...


(Mission impossible: Skunk BU is ago. We'll have to start digging to do it)

Roleplayers tend to prefer specialized RP forums where is easier to reach the critical mass for such games. That being said, we'll give full support to anyone willing to coordinate such project.

I think the hardest thing about a SMAC RP would be deciding what you would RP as.
It's a turn-based strategy game, so do you play as the leader? That would basically be like an AAR, and nobody can remember the entire map of SMAC with bases and terrain features.
Individual citizens in a random town? That is what I'm thinking. Maybe Godwinson's Hope is the last remaining base after some mind-worm-apocalypse, and only a few hundred people are left...
You know what, thats good. I'd definetly attempt to write an opening and some guidelines for the first Roleplay thread. So if you want, I'll get working on that.

Don't worry, I figured out what I wanted. I PM'd sisko. Of course, if something like that did happen there would have to be a few different RP threads with different scenarios/player controlled characters.
