Latest little side project. 


Part of a gift exchange I entered for the month (Think halloween flavored secret santa in March).  Buncha martha stewart types, the recipient may or may not appreciate it. 

Includes the mold to make copies yourself.



And has a bit of a surprise.

Ghost paint?

Flourescent. 

Back in, what, 2010?  I did a lot of practice at making paint that is flourescent without being some rediculous bright orange or yellow, etc.  Wilfire (paint company I used) offered to buy my work back then for use at the trade shows, but I sold it to a local haunt instead.  Wildfire has since made a fairly big business in such paints, and offers classes on how to mix them so you can get more natural shades by regular light.

"Quail on the bridge of death" sounds so profound it could be the title of a novel or something.

If we do get babies, I might just have to figure out the trap camera function on this camera.  Got a battery pack that would let it sit on for 24 hours and catch anything that moves into focus.

The bird(s) made a nest there?

Don't know.  It's time for them to be building a nest, and since it was a pair, makes sense they were scoping out sites.  The Bridge pile is the kind of thing they might like for that purpose. 

No sign of them yet this morning though.  Back behind the shed is another good area for them.  Haven't gone looking.

After watching Dracula Untold, Talia is considering vampire for Halloween.  She was rather impressed the girls got to get into the action. 

My review:

Not enough horror, but the few moments that ARE there are well done.  Wouldn't mind seeing a sequel, but likely wouldn't go to it in the theater.

Mother in law passed.  hEt's down both parents in the last 5 months.  Both young.
