Plus, decorating with sage, thyme, rosemary, and oregano can serve the kitchen hobby as well.  (catmint, milkweed, and maybe sunflowers are on the docket as well, but less useful in the kitchen)

Just about worst case scenario re water as we've flipped right to 50 degrees and rain.

Ideal scenario is a slow warm up so there's still water in the mountains towards the end of June/early July. 

With a fast runoff, the ground water levels don't have time to absorb properly and thus you really don't help the drought.  The reservoirs also need to send it downstream with a fast thaw rather than being able to retain max levels as we get into the heat.

So, despite it being a solid snow year, if we melt swiftly it was mostly not productive. 

Work went from a foot of snow on the lawn to nothing in a week.  Looks like mid 40s and rain through end of the month.  Our house might be high enough up the hill to get some snow mixed in.

Looking at the long range forecasts I use for Halloween, it's looking like an average but dry April followed by a warm dry May and cool wet early June.

Ogden/South Ogden?  Lord only place I've really seen that mentioned is when Superman visited back in his grounded storyline. 

3' of snow a week ago in my front lawn is gone now.  SERIOUS rain last night.
