Another good 6" + this morning for a forecasted 1/2". 

I'm not sure if it falls under the city or the state, but someone's decided the main highway by our house doesn't need plowing.  We were out in it yesterday, and I had to again this morning, and neither time was it plowed.

Actually, no.  We're still below average snowpack for the year.  Long range has best outlook is hitting average, but really, another such storm and we'd tip above average for the date, but we really won't know till spring for the drought situation.  As I understand, though it would take 3 years of above average water to get the ground water back to average.

The rest of the neighbor's kids just showed up (Talia and that family is always together and at one of our houses).  This was the younger pair, knocking alone at the door.  They still are not entirely sure of me.  I mean, they still are afraid, but know enough to laugh it up after.

You know damn well I'm playing that up every time I answer the door.

You might be interested I'm revisiting Trevor this year.  Instead of sculpting an entire skeleton from scratch underneath this time, however, I just used Fred as a mold and put plaster wrap over him for a large portion.  Will be buying some apoxie clay soon and let you know what I think of it.

Supposedly the worst storm in 10 years has just begun.  30+ inches expected in the mountains, and more rain than snow down here at work, and 8-10" snow expected at my house.  If that pans out, we might hit average snowfall for the year.

That one hit too far south, we only got rain down low and not enough snow in the mountain.

Next 'big storm' just started, we'll see.  I'm getting tired of these doom and gloom predictions that never pan out.
