Too many to know how many. I used to work late into the night in central Vermont, and would often stop on the way home to just watch an aurora display. There's just something about this phenomenon that grabs me.

You guys in North America are so lucky to live closer to the magnetic pole.
I live on a higher latitude (50+ ° north), and never seen northern lights here.
