Now see, right here is why forums don't work as actual democracies - with luck, everybody has an opinion on the big questions, though I haven't had an awful lot of input even there when I solicit member opinions - but nobody bothers to express an opinion about the mundane calls like making a Cat category in the user gallery, yet those decisions still have to be made, and somebody has to actually do the work, preferably in a timely fashion.

There is indeed a Cats folder now - I, your Benevolent Dictator, have seen to it.

Nobody should ever be too busy to ponder cats. Even when they misbehave, as mine did today (upchucking on two sections of floor - tiles, thankfully, not carpet), and then sneaking out into the hallway when the grocery order was delivered.

BUncle, I really like your current ink & quill avatar. Did you make that, or was it snagged from a game?

It is a Civ6 avatar I made from a video screencap Sunday - the Writing technology, I think.  There's three different versions in the 6 folder in the user gallery, and I won't hog this one long...

I'd been thinking of something I'd like to do regarding Iron Pen, but if this is a copyrighted image, that squashes that idea.

I saw a neat artist's conception of the Juno probe with a science article I posted, and had to make an avatar - now uploaded to the Astronomy & Space Travel section of the User Gallery.

-It's not quite as big as the attachment...
