Raise Sea Floor decreases the depth of the current square by approximately 1000 m. All nearby tiles will be adjusted to slope terrain.
Cannot raise sea floor unto land. You will need land formers for that. A landformer on a nearby land square with the Raise Land command can raise sea floor up to land.
Raising sea lower than 1000m to above 1000m, bonus squares and sea fungus.
Raising sea squares above 1000m depth is important for sea formers. As improvements can only be build on sea squares above 1000m depth.
