-So, I find myself thinking about a Civ6 theme.  I can make it default in the 6 folder for all the lurkers and anyone in the default theme...

Anybody got any ideas about what that would look like beyond the obvious Atlas background?

I mostly like it... but why is each word in a different font?

You'd have to ask to designer of the original Alpha Centauri logo that.

If you are doing it just for the Civ6 area, can you change the background from a star scape to a worldscape (a la civ screen shot). 

I wouldn't do it for the whole site, as it is an AC site and that implies space, but for the civ section that is planet bound.... just brainstorming.

Nothing wrong with starscapes. After all, isn't Earth part of the universe itself? And while I've never tried any Civ higher than III, isn't space travel one of the techs people still try for?

Here's what I finally went with:



I just updated most of the thumbnails - you may have to go to the theme select screen from Look and Layout in your profile and refresh to get the up-to-date versions to show, and to show in the right sidebar select dealy.


One of these days, I'm going to have to see if I can do anything with Redsy - it says Alpha Centauri 2 three times in the top left corner of the index.  -None of those and a small logo image would surely be more phone-friendly...

FYI, civ 6 forum no longer has buttons to "post"

I do like the new colors/skins though.

Try refreshing first, then please don't tell me you're in Firefox - in both Chrome and IE, I see the Post button under Quick Reply, I see the Reply button above that, I see the New Topic button at the subforum level.

If refreshing doesn't fix whatever you're seeing, post me a screenshot of what you do...

Okay - I think it was just that one thread because of the FB video link.  Fixed now - see if you can't find the buttons now.

While you were doing that, I restarted the comp.  One or the other worked.

It was the really long link full of Facebook garbage - I got the wide page in Firefox.

OK.  Using Chrome, FYI.

Safari sucks, and the old IE was even worse.   New IE I hear good things about, but haven't really used it.

Firefox was good a while ago, but stopped being supported and now is akin to using AOL Dial Up.
