More progress...

The "hank" of hair I bought is hard to work with compared to the saran hair i bought years ago.  It's hard to separate out a "thread" to work with without tangling up the whole hank. I much prefer the hair that's been wound into a spool. Wish I could find a place to buy more...

Hmmm... Hadn't thought about it, but there are male dolls in this set.... Hmmm... Christmas is coming...

Here's pictures of my least favorite part of re-rooting a doll -  making a part in the hair.  The problem is that the stitches have to be very close.  Frequently one "thread" of hair will pull a previous thread out as it goes in... arrgh!
