Thing is, I created my avatar a decade ago for the Mars Scenario. His is merely an existing one: Eudaimonia.

AFAIK, its one I created (or more precies, mixed) for the Orbital Industry tech in Mars Scenario.

Right -click>Save picture as, and you'll see the filename.  When did you spend 200 EC on a custom I don't know about?

If you have a custom you want, post it in the Council Room avatar thread, and I'm yer boy.

What I'm saying is that I found my current avatar in the forum's avatar database (and implemented it), but recognized it from the time I made said Mars Scenario.
If you have it in your scenario folder, check the "Techfiles" folder. It's called "tech087.pcx" there.

So no "unauthorized" EC spending happened, my dear  apprentice.

Okay, now I'm arguing for no reason, but I checked your profile and my list of what tech has what symbol, and that's indeed listed as tech066, which should be Advanced Spaceflight.  I downloaded the Mars scenario for the custom factions almost 5 years ago (I liked, btw), but there's only game images, nothing custom beyond matters of style, in that avatar set.  I would think I'd remember making a tech one from another source.

Advanced Spaceflight in SMACX is the rocket with the flare exhaust, but without the opened hands (which come from the Eudaimonia tech). 

Btw, isn't there somewhere a pdf file with the techtree floating on the forum/download database?

Figured out the source where you got it from: SMAniaC, named as (surprise) tech066. And Maniac had the icon from me.

That would indeed be it.  I installed SMAniaC in the dawn of time in the folder I do art from, and I guess not everything ever got cleaned out.  I wonder how many off-model tech icons and such I've done without knowing?


Do we have that tech tree?  If we don't and you run it down, I'd be grateful if you posted to Downloads here.  Same for anything useful and Downloads-worthy.
