...Who gets along with DanQ?  I'm afraid the last time I talked to him I was giving him down the road about the constant promotion crowding out everything else in the community, so this is not a job for BU...

-However, he's over at CFC, and it ought to be easy for someone -or two or three- to get on a Polycast and talk up an SPDG, though, just not me...

I still don't understand what you need for the ad thing.  I will try to do something threadlike and linky for the SPDG today - I'm way behind because of a medical appointment this morning, though, and juggling furiously to catch up right now...

Hey Nik - I've been swamped this week, so how about you do threads over here with some of the neat stuff Rob has put together?

(Note that the same thing we've been doing to/for each other at our respective forums with the "Courtesy of" linkbacks at the top has been passing muster when I did it at 'Poly - you ought to get in on that action; much better search engine ranking there for spreading the URL, and I've had it to myself for over a month, posting almost 100% of the news and content...)

-Congratulations on staying at it until a lot more people have gotten on the bus chipping in with the news/content posting than here - and having more comments...


Note to Godking - linkbacks.  We're totally cool with having our links robbed -do that, by all means; it grows the whole community if we support each other and are cool with sharing- but give us a credit linkback, please.

I'm not very interested in going back to Poly, they have treated me badly and the constant negativity is affecting my Tourettes badly. My wife and I have agreed I need to stay away. Besides, all my old threads were deleted and I was told I was a spammer trying to incite forum wars by Aeson. For doing exactly what you ask me to do...

Okay - you GOTS to take care of Nik before anything else.  That's cool.  I think he was just being stressed-out and has backed off, but you know I'm not the go-to guy for defending him, and I'm not.

...You know, when you started starting threads linking WPC 6 news, I had to talk a staffer down -I totally understood where he was coming from, too- but this one-upsmanship content-sharing rivalry thing we've developed is a wonderful everybody-wins solution that will grow both forums, and I'm proud of all of us for fumbling our way into it...

Yo, but you listened and trusted my advice, my young padiwan, and dared to be bold -promotion has to be a little shameless- and, for instance, noticed what I started doing with just sharing the video outright w/ the 'Courtesy of' linkback and did it right back to me - and it's fun, trying to beat you to a scoop.
