I was strictly speaking from the spooky side of the street.  Clowns are not really my "thing".  Most especially since they are so popular now. 


That's not to say that I couldn't, or wouldn't do a clown for the right amount of $, or the right situation, mind you.

I would have found this a lot of work, were I not coming straight off over a day's grind with the picture gallery.  I did a fairly minor redraft of the writing, adding a word or two here and there for clarity of what I was referring to, mostly - also, inserting a few ideas I'd skipped over and some small changes for it's a webpage and references to pages pending I'll go back and link when they exist.

-Next I think I'll write up creating laughing Buddah and ponytail Barbie...

Working on that figure sculpting demonstration webpage right now and referenced detailing with tools, and realized I'd never shown the tools, aside from one end of one.  You guys get to see them first.

When I go to a site like that, I wander away quickly.  Picture Gallery should be finished products, and if you have nearly as many pic's as you do should be filterable by type (mold making, candles, masks & other).  The filter can be as simple as a jump to the lower part of the page where these types of pictures are.  "How to's" can be full of all the in process pictures.  I see a page like that and I just get overloaded and confused?  Are you selling Barbie dolls that are naked except S&M rubberbands?  Are these kat masks made of old tabloids telling a story and I should be looking for the right alien abduction story for the mask I am buying (Not the soft ice cream one in the pictures... I want Alien Abduction and Cattle Mutilation!!!)?  These are the creepy thoughts I get when I see your gallery as it stands.

The overall layout looks nice.  I like how you have the links in the upper right.  Good scale.  Nice colors. 

The small sculpture page had a lot of unloading pictures on it.  Not sure why they didn't load up on my screen.  Might be me, might be the page.

Naw, those pics haven't had the proper album codes entered yet.  I picked out and ordered the pics I wanted for that page, pending a lot of writing of tutorial material, and it turned out when I pasted them from Word, where I'm doing the writing, local temp file codes went with them, not the source.

I suppose "In the Workshop" isn't sufficient indication that those are just in-progress pictures of a wide range of things I've worked/been working on - I suspect wannabe artists, sort've the group I'm fishing for with that kind of thing, would find it more interesting - and I daresay it shows some artistic productivity on my part, and a bit of range. 

They're pics, you see, of the sort I'd want to look at.  -And it's all sideshow while I work out design and wait for my sister to wake up, anyway.

Still, that's just a grind-out of what pics I have on hand that might be of interest to those interested in that sort of thing; I've gotten several hundred bits of album code pasted and posted -on a page longer than War and Peace- and I can go back and categorize/organize and throw in titles and page-jump-links and hopvertext and captions what-not at my leisure, now that the tedious drudge work is finished.  -Maybe break it up into more than one page, even.-  An actor's gotta show up and say his lines before he worries about being good, and with a pagetop design you find credible, the hardest part of the work is done.  -For that page.

I just gotta grind out a lot of pages before I worry too much about second drafts and polishing.  The Budai section isn't quite finished yet, and there's more pictures of bald naked bondage Barbie to write through.  I'm still in the showing-up-and-saying-lines part; good isn't coming while I'm still in rehearsals, though I work on it as I go...

...The Ken statue mold, BTW, has developed a slight foamy appearance just under the surface, suspiciously like the blue molds on the storyteller figure and the Moai.  I do believe I got a mislabeled tube of silicone II foisted on me.  I just put all three in the oven at 200 degrees again today, wishing I could go back to Sunday and start out a little hotter and keep the statue in a lot longer; plainly, the stuff cures on the outside and makes the middle even slower-curing, and half-measures only encourage that skin to develop - but so does only waiting forEVER for it to cure naturally...

...I suppose I should make "Making of The Captain base" page next, both to compliment the Mache technique tutorial using him, and because I took a lot of pictures as I altered the face cast and surfaced it into the base form.  -As soon as I get pictures for it done by doing one, I should do a page on making a cast of a face, too, Mylochka cooperating and the creeks don't rise...
