AI only game?

Just curious if you've seen TPangolin's CIV battle royale.  Any way to make AC 100% AI and have the factions all battle amongst themselves?

I think it can be done in the scenario editor.

TPangolin put a sub under an icecap in CIV.  I'm not sure how you would do that in AC but would be an interesting AAR.

The closest analogy I can come up with in SMAC is that reinforced hull ability that comes with Nanometallurgy, and have the boat in a polar inland lake.

It is possible to have a game where the AI controls everything. The only problem I see with this particular set-up is that you have to run the scenario editor which results in the label of cheated at the  game's end.

Well obviously it would only be useful for testing purposes - or just to watch for fun.  I don't see the problem with how the game gets marked.

Yeah, if we were to run it like that the 'player' will not win, an AI will win.  What you would want to do is pit all the AI factions against each other.  Watch like a sport rooting for teams etc.
