No picture due to all visual images being marked classified and burnt to prevent Data spy sabotage.

Original property investors heading to mount planet area were mislead by Data Spy into Fungal Patch and set on fire. The Human Hive however has hastily healed harm and headed back to Mount Planet. The Data Spy launched a full assault into the killing grounds separating the paradise of the Human Hive from the toxic misinformation of the Data Lands. The Data attack began successfully by destroying Hive rover teams that were conducting peaceful science experiments. Do not mourn for the fallen though. They were forcibly drafted knowing they were expendable and died as such. Their sacrifice left the Data forces open to counter attack which the Hive forces conducted and utterly defeated them on the field of battle. The Killing Ground is now littered with the dying corpses and smoking wrecks of the Data Forces.

The Glorious Leader is dedicated to the peaceful Hive rule of planet and will punish any such who oppose his benevolent rule!

A bit of OOC comments.

Me and Hive are actually closer to each other than me and University bases. There are 16 tiles separating my HQ and the closest Hive base, Chairman's Burrow, but 20+ tiles between DataHQ and Outremer Research. It's just we've been locked in combat over Copernicus Canal for so long - and the base itself is so vital to my operations - that most of our clashes occured on the far border and reinforcements had to be sent around the Planet the long way.

This operation was put in motion in 2138, when I finally finished building RecCommons on my tiny island, and used all of my Alien Artifacts to build units and transports. I have collected about 7 of them during the game, and most of them were used to build units and fuel conquests. The first wave of artifacts were transformed into 2-2t-2 rovers in the late 20s - to fight while their HPs last and then be disbanded into better units. By the time of this offensive I only had 3 artifacts remaining. So I turned them into 4-2-2 rovers and sailed, hoping that they will arrive unmolested.

The election of Shorty as a Planetary Governor made me a bit scared that the plan will get discovered, but either he didn't notice, or they didn't communicate.

Shorty himself has been busy as we are engaged in a back-and-forth war over the PeaceKeepers' HQ. I have built a base on an island that gives me perfect access to Shorty's continent, and have been harassing his production ever since. However, I have made the stupidest blunder in the game that has cost me the offensive. In 2142 I have made my boats move and bombard his infrastructure before I moved my probe foils. Imagine my dismay when I discovered there were two boats hiding a few tiles away. I have lost my probe foil, a transport, and a combat vessel due to this mishap, and had only 1 probe left to run disruption missions, which clearly has not been enough to prevent more defenders from being built. Eventually I was pushed off the continent, and there is now an uneasy ceasefire between us due to lack of units to attack with.

Pirates are... somewhere away, in a different hemisphere, and I have no clue what they are doing. They are the only faction I don't have a vendetta with, but seeing how they are pacted with everyone else, and I am at war with everyone else, chances are it does not last.

It is over.

We've yielded to the hacker hordes, granting Nevill victory once again. Well done, sir.

We've all resigned and converted the save file to a scenario. Anyone who wishes to look at our map more closely can open the Cyborgs with the password "rofl_KAPL" and then switch on the scenario editor for a complete look. The bases are a little off but you'll get the general idea.

Enjoy!

The klaxon began to wail, but we felt the reassuring tingle of the Tachyon Field crackling to life around us, encasing the entire base in its impenetrable glow.
