At this point, I usually just have a treat for supper (Chinese food tonight), and do a guilt-free Amazon order. There's a C.J. Cherryh book I've had my eye on. No cake, no party; it's been 23 years since my last birthday party (my SCA group surprised me when I turned 30; I thought I was just going to have a quiet game of Eurorails with a couple of friends).
