Description:

This is a slightly cleaned-up version of something Maniac posted long ago.  It saves you a few minutes deleting Yang yourself each time you begin a new custom faction - and is indispensable in GIMP, where you need to erase the background of your faction assemby copy (Layer>Transparency> Add Alpha Channel, Color Picker Tool w/ Threshold set to 0, select the background color, [Delete]) and copy/paste the whole thing into this blank, then save with whatever filename the faction uses.  It's a workaround for a transparent background problem.  More info in the Graphics thread in the Modding forum
