Description: Nuevo escenario de Firaxis "titulado" Lucha por los sondeos "lleva a los jugadores a un continente lejano, donde las fuerzas expedicionarias de las cuatro facciones han establecido fortalezas que rodean el misterioso artefacto alienígena conocida como El Pozo de clústeres.
 El Cluster de perforación, que fueron dejados en la superficie del planeta por la misma cultura misteriosa que construyó los monolitos y los artefactos alienígenas, proveer a los jugadores con los minerales y la energía extra.

 Los jugadores pueden entrar en este escenario como uno de los cuatro lados - Los creyentes, la Colmena, los espartanos o los gaianos. Mientras cursaba un "empate" puede ser fácilmente alcanzado, el verdadero reto llega cuando los jugadores tratan de preservar su propio objetivo, mientras que el objetivo de capturar por el enemigo antes de que el escenario termina.
