The colonists had brought the knowledge of atmospheric flight to Planet, but not the materials to build and maintain large quantities of aircraft in Planet’s harsh conditions. With the discovery of Synthetic Fossil Fuels for materials and a renewed emphasis on Doctrine: Flexibility, pilots can again make the leap into the clouds.
