A mining platform increases the minerals output of an ocean square by +1, or +2 if Advanced Ecological Engineering has been discovered.
  • A mining platforms can only be built in shelf squares (depth less than 1000m).
  • A mine reduces the nutrient output of a square by 1, but never below 1.
