Annihilators

The Annihilators are another "monster" type faction in the same vein as others like the Antimind or Exterminatus. However, they are much more powerful than the Antimind. The Annihilators as an AI tend to pump out multiple troops and swarm the enemy. Typical human tactics such as turtling then overwhelming with air power are much less effective since this faction starts with Locusts of Chiron from start along with the tech to make more. While the Annihilators are no research powerhouse, they make up for it through a tech steal ability. This combined with stacks of troops and total efficiency from a headquarters in each base makes them a fearsome opponent even amongst other "monster" class custom factions.

This faction was originally designed by Ete for an AARAfter Action Report exploration into monster factions and has been featured in other AARs.
