The Progenitor race can sense and manipulate local fields an untrained human cannot perceive without mechanical aid, including electricity and magnetism. Built on an understanding of Progenitor Psych and Centauri Ecology, the discovery of Field Modulation allows trained and equipped individuals to detect and perform basic manipulations of these 'resonance fields'.
