Terraforming units can plant fungus which destroys enhancements other than roads, mag tubes and thermal boreholes.
For factions that control The Xenoempathy Dome, the time taken to plant fungus is halved.
Using xenoagricultural techniques, fungus can be cultivated. Production from fungus squares increase with each Centauri technology you discover (see Fungus page for details). Excluding Thermal Boreholes, any bonus resources or improvements on fungus will not increase production.
