Facilities are enhancements which built at [[bases]]. They often give multipliers for a specific base output such as [[Economy]] or [[Psych]], or give morale boosts to units produced at that base, though many facilities have unique and complex effects. Each base can only contain one of each facility (though [[Satellites]] which are unconnected to specific bases can be built multiple times by each base, and Stockpile Energy is never actually built, it's more of a process). Many facilities require a maintenance cost in energy per turn which can sometimes outweigh their benefits in small bases. Facilities can be granted to all bases by faction bonuses or [[Secret Projects]], and these do not require maintenance. When a base is captured facilities will be destroyed, making life especially hard for the occupying forces especially if drone control facilities are lost.
