Please post in this thread your preferences and i will update these 2 'tables'.
First one is mainly about the map and factions, the second about the game preferences.
If you can't agree on some of them i will choose the middle way (if possible) or use my own judgement as a tie-breaker.
For the second 'table' use only ON / OFF when stating your preferences to avoid confusions.

I would much rather not have Blind research.  Blind research sucks  :(
I also kind of Like Random events but this in unimportant compared to Blind Research.

I have no Preference on any other thing, any kind of map or Level

Is there something that needs to be done before we begin?  I would like to get started.
As I said any kind of map and rules is ok I just prefer blind research disabled :)

Rules:
Rules for the fully patched game (including the unofficial patch):
  • A player may not restart a turn without good reason. The player should specify the reason in the game thread if he was not able to avoid reloading the turn. (Obviously, if a player has suffered some sort of crash during a turn, such a reload is unavoidable)
  • A player is not permitted to establish contact with another player prior to having met them in-game.
  • A player may not use build queue manipulation or other loopholes to hurry production at a cost that would be lower than directly hurrying the item that one intends to build.
  • A player may not use build queue manipulation or other loopholes to build something you could not directly add to the build queue.
  • A player may not upgrade a particular type of unit using the design workshop, and then attack with that unit in the same turn.
  • If a player performs a probe team action other than to infiltrate against another player with whom (s)he is in a truce, treaty or pact, they must inform the probed player what it was they did and what they stole/sabotaged. They must also choose the 'declare vendetta/cancel pact' option when they perform the action.(the game will always send a notice to the agressor instead of the damaged faction)
  • A player is not permitted to make more than one social engineering change per line, per turn. For instance, one is not permitted to start the turn in wealth, switch to power mid-turn for the extra disbanded minerals, and then switch back to wealth that same turn, getting the refund.
  • Stockpiling in build queue allowed when building units. (of course when building sp/facility too, but it's not needed to do anything to gain those bonuses too)
  • Exchanging bases with AI forbidden. (this is obvious exploit cause AI trades everything; lets say I take over base level 2 with probe and then exchange this base for a base level 6 that has SP, more over I exchange it with my enemy's pact-friend so that to liberate this base my enemy would have to mess with his friend).
  • Additional move after former build something and his flag is gray is not allowed.
  • Council notification - immediate broadcast to all players(Post in the thread and e-mail to all immediately by player who has called elections, citing candidates and votes. After each player's turn, post in the thread the running totals).
  • If a player declares vendetta upon another player, either directly or indirectly, they must not accept a pending diplomatic agreement between the two factions in the same turn.

Notes:
  • Any other feature is allowed if not specifically foribbden in this set of rules.
  • Any feature that you may consider an exploit and which is not forbidden in this set of rules should be agreed before the game.
Important:
  • Expected turn rate is 24 hours. This means you should try to play your turn every day. Out-of-town and vacation periods should be properly announced in this thread - the game will be stalled during these periods, unless agreed otherwise.
  • The AI is not enhanced. The first base of each AI is already deployed at the start of the game.

WTF!

i just loaded my turn and something was wrong with it.

i got all the commlinks for all other factions and the map was fully revealed

this is not right, it said something about the map being opend in map editor.

ill post the savegame here so that you can see for yourselves.
