My laughable lighting 'solution'.  "Proper" macro lighting getups go for $500+, this fits in with my fake macro lenses just fine.



Much better pics with the lighting.

One Eye Willey...really not looking good, to be honest.  I've determined him to be 4th instar, and hoping he molts and shows better health for it. 


Sprinkles is gorgeous as a 5th instar with those DEEP black lines, but still not showing normal tentacle use/developement.

Well, I've actually nursed Willey back to health by all appearances.  He's at least the proper color now, which is a sign of good health. 

Still one eye, and if you look close there's a line down his back that could suggest injury.

Trippy, dark, and strange. It is a film directed by Tim Burton. That makes it not quite as shocking as I originally thought. However, it is still weird.

just a heads up.

Haxan is on in about 7 hours.  Rare silent film documentary on witchcraft that was widely banned in the western world.  (would not be considered documentary today, dramatized 'history' of the malleus maleficarum. )

Working out some animation for the skelly


Quick shot of one of the new stele.  Total re-imagine to something that fits our decor, but is ordinary enough to make resale easy.  You might recognize the recycled 'tombstones' from a few years ago.  Hollowed out the symbols so they can be lit up, and the firebowls can still go up on top. The plaster up there providing fireproofing and hide the base of the bowls.
