Art Files

To give beginners a boost, here are some art files - utilities, like blank shields and faction templates, and extensive ready-to-paste-in-and-go samples of three of the visual elements of a faction - leaderheads, bases and diplomacy landscapes.  Logos are easy, and so specific to the ideology that only one file of ready-to-go and another of un-sized & scanlined examples are included - but there are at least 20 prepared examples of everything a faction graphic needs.  Hopefully, these are enough for anyone with elementary copy/paste skills to get started creating custom SMACX factions that don't look like clones of Deirdre or Yang.  Please feel free to contact the author at Alpha Centauri 2, in the Modding forum.  I enjoy teaching - or talking shop, if you're accomplished.  Or both.

I've worked way ahead during a productive spell, and I'm pacing out the release of files, so that's the deal with the images that don't take you to a Downloads page when clicked -yet- check back in the weeks and months to come, or check the forum, where you can get them sooner.
