Patrol

A unit can be sent on Patrol by pressing the ‘P’ key or using the ‘Action’ menu. When the Patrol cursor appears, hold down the left mouse button and drag the “patrol arrow” to the area you wish the unit to patrol. The unit will commence patrolling back and forth between its current location and the location specified. If it encounters an enemy unit, it will stop patrolling and wait for further orders. Waypoints can be set in a patrol by pressing the ‘Space Bar’ while dragging the patrol arrow.
