While we do try to make things a bit harder for those who lurk the webs to get your private information, it is best if common sense is used.
- Avoid using real names and addresses. Once something like this is put on a wiki, it is always viewable under "edit history" even if deleted. Use PMs.
- Never put in valid e-mail adresses either on forums or wikis. Affliate marketers have crawler bots that scour sites for e-mail to spam or phish information from you. If you must, use a format like "sidgame at goodgames dot com".
- Make sure your computer stays updated and free of viruses and keyloggers.
- NEVER share accounts or passwords with anyone.
- Careful when using sensitive information in unsecured wifi hotspots like airports and cafes.
