I've created facebook "pages" for all fourteen SMAC/X faction leaders on facebook. So now, when your friends think they are controversial when listing Sarah Palin or Ulrike Meinhof as "people I admire", you can out-provoke them by listing Chairman Shen-Ji Yang! It's a great way to promote the game and be nerdy/cool in general. Go, as they say, nuts!

Let's see which leader gets the most fans! I'll keep count.

Note that I've chosen to create profiles under the faction leaders' full names + titles (CEO Nwabudike Morgan, rather than Morgan). This will make it easier to search for them and imho it looks better.

Lal, Aki and Miriam have taken considerable steps forward since last time. Some people finally became fans of Cha Dawn and the aliens. For a while there I thought no-one liked them at all!

I'm a bit surprised so few people like Svensgaard and Roze. Their factions are pretty cool, after all. But I guess that if your imagination is vivid enough to make you think of computer game characters as real people (as mine is) you will find both of them pretty annoying. Svensgaard won't let you do your research alone and Roze always tries to steal your tech...

Deirdre was one of the first fac leaders to get fans, but now her progress has halted. Zakharov is still un-threatened at the top. Those are all my comments for this time. Do you have any comments or questions?
