Another wave of invaders at Court Records down thanks to the holy power of nerve gas.

Looks like one guy escaped my notice near War of the Working Man. One X-rover peels off to exterminate it.

I must not get too cocky, though. Right now I am upgrading from older Impact weapons to Missiles. So, since all this is in prototype, it is taking longer to pump out units for now.

We leave the perimeter defense of Court Records for just a second to relieve the Lawyers a bit who have been holding off an attack of their own.

Meanwhile, the survivor of the pincer attack has been dealt with and we catch another straggler as well.

Glory of God was really a trap. I had to split Antimind up. I thought it would go with a three prong attack, but I guess it took the bait hoping to get a base within air striking distance of major production centers WITH a monolith.

I know...

and they refuse to give up.

They are really causing problems around New Jerusalem right now that I have not gone into that I can really do nothing about because it is taking EVERYTHING I got to fight Antimind.

I do say this, times like this kind of make me wish you could open up SP games to MP - balance be damned. I would love to see how a human who is just as devious as I am handle Oblivion or the Comrades. Although MP tends to be VERY slow going.

At least for playing by email. I've done a few hamachi games in the past but hamachi connection is relatively garbage and SMAC/SMAX is very buggy online as it is.

Actually, at some point, we could push the envelope on AARs. To this day, even with Civ 5, I have never seen a MP AAR. Of course, it may have to be cooperative. I am not very far along in the 2 MP games T_ras has gotten me in. But, I have heard the reputation of the MP AC players to be brutal. Too bad I will not know till next month some time as both LMS and WMS games are in early stages. Posting your moves when opponents are about kind of defeats the purpose. But, I firmly believe Oblivion could have survived Antimind better with a human (well at least with me playing, though it still would have been rough as hell) and the Comrades could have wiped the floor with the lawyers despite bad start and native life going nuts.

Maybe have a roleplay AAR here the human players roleplay or cooperate. They aren't just out to kill each other and what not.

If we were to do something like that, it may be best to do it (unfortunately) through video.Forum PBEM would be way too slow. I am thinking like the TGS Blood Bowl. For those unfamiliar, that is where TotalBiscuit, Panser, and a bunch of other youtube video game pundits play Cyanide's Blood Bowl and each have voice-over-IP commentary for the game they play.

May I add, for that, they get 2ok to 40k views which is quite a bit of actual cash for those.

Only thing is, with SMAX, we run ito 256 color mode/Fraps issues.

Actually, Wowcrendor gave some good advice. You form alliances with folks about on your level and keep pushing content. All those guys had reputations on AAA game forums and pushed content.

I actually do have a trial commentary on youtube I did a while back just to see if I could do it. It is unrelated to this AAR, but I have a different view of AARs and I think the lurkers like gameplay interspersed with our ramblings at least in forum format.

You have a relaxing voice, not too loud or annoying.

My voice, if you may have heard it in the Comrade's blurb is wheezy and gruff. When I get loud I just sound like I am taking a dump while trying to kill someone.
