New forum banner at the top of the forum - feedback needed!

Maybe it's time to change the banner at the top of the forum (maybe also the frontpage) with a new one containing the text: "alphacentauri2.info made by SMACers, for SMACers"?

Great idea - I've booted up GIMP.  A copy of the shot you used without the current text, please.

this is all i can find in the computer at work. you can black-erase the text i think..

I believe I finally matched the font.

Folks, stuff like this matters - people are simply more likely to register and participate at an attractive, well-done website, so it's in your own best interest to see that AC2 is that.
