I just watched the entire thing. The camera was steady. Easy.
I can only imagine that the challenging part had something to do with the sound.
If that's the issue, why didn't they say I dare you to listen ?

No, I'm not wasting more time on this.

So Rusty, essentially you were waiting for some sort of shoe to drop.

BUncle, that was a Belgian you flipped through.

Oops, no Belgian acting after all.
I misread "Humor" as "Humo", a social/political magazine here in the country.

It's fair to say I was waiting for a shoe to drop.    ( Did that phrase originate in Holland? )

I normally compute without sound, and there was too much racket ( TV,  chatter. clatter, etc. ) to try it with my impaired hearing anyway.

I figured something scarey or grotesque was supposed to happen. When it didn't I wondered if he was supposed to be a motivational speaker and I was supposed to do something besides watch video on my computer.

Then I began to suspect that this smug- looking  fellow was insulting me continuously, and it was an endurance dare.

Funny didn't occur to me.

Not that I'm aware off. There's no similar expression in Dutch I can think of out of hand.

Nah, he's just filling time in a challenging tone and slightly deragory text.
