Title: Mother's Day
Post by: Valka on May 12, 2014, 12:37:13 AM
There aren't very many women on this site, but I think it's safe to say we are all mothers by biology or adoption (of whatever species our children might be). And guys, if you haven't already done so, do or say something nice for your moms or grandmothers (don't neglect your grandmothers on this day!).

I gave Buster's Gramma a quarter of a drill, let her eat the white meat KFC that was for me, and told her I love her every day, which I do every Mother's Day.  It's not a bouquet of flowers, but suits her druthers pretty well I think.  She liked the drill.

That's great that you make such an effort. :) I'd prefer the drill over flowers, too (I'm allergic to flowers and think they look better on their stems, where they belong!).

Mylochka deserves all the real credit for the drill - her idea, her purchase, and I didn't even have half the money handy to kick in afterwards.  The white meat sharing wasn't because of Mother's Day, actually a coincidence - which I think makes it sweeter in a way...

The drill?

Does keeping my parents fridge filled with a brand of icecream she likes count? ;cute
