Title: Display Bug
Post by: Dio on December 16, 2013, 07:12:04 PM
I noticed a few bugs with the display while using the scenario editor. The first bug is that while the cursor is over the terrain brush sizes, it shows various custom map features. I know this is a scripting error of some kind. In addition, you can start looking to fix that bug by looking for "brush" while in ollydebug under the referenced text strings. The second bug is that on the display which shows the save map file, brush size and such, the rainfall is always shown as moist even when the square you have selected is not. I know that in the interface.pcx file there is a terrain selection that would allow you to change the raininess of a square. Is it possible to fix that bug and put the rainfall selection tool back into the game?

Edit: This screenshot was taken using Yitzi's most recent patch 2.4c.

As a display-only bug that only appears in the editor, this isn't going to be a major priority unless it was introduced by my patch; does it occur under Scient's?

It appears as though this bug runs all the way back to the last officially patched version of the game.
