We have just built our first recreation commons! Also, we are preparing a few base sites for our blessing.

Well, that is not the worst of it. They used another planet buster to blow up my other project base. However, I managed to start rebuilding and am now about to capture another one of their bases. Meanwhile, the Labyrinth and Peacekeepers keep using planet busters against one another.

Now it time for us to get revenge on the spartans. Also, we think assassin's redoubt's last transmission went, in this scenario, something like: "H.Q. we have an incoming object. Oh my god, it is a meteorite and it is headed straight towa...end transmission". For the actual fate of assassin's redoubt, see post#56 in this topic. Also we know that we can not win a conquest victory before the game ends but at least we are holding our own. In addition, planet busters have been periodically going off against all factions except our own. The reason for this is that we conclavists always remember to wear orbital defense pod protection when we anger someone like santiango.

Note: I really wanted to say that they never do but I felt that was somewhat distasteful.

This is our standard unit with +4 Planet, The dream twister and auto elite units. Now they are not effective as they could be but are still very good at what they need to. Also, we are working on the universal translator.

Dio, a thing to be thinking about next time is giving the reader more of an overview sense of how the faction's progressing.  You don't have to show every little thing or anything, but to my casual perusal, I had little sense of plot or the big picture of the whole game.

(This could just be me - I've not been getting enough sleep for about two weeks, and AC2 has just had its busiest month ever, which means I can't take my time and I'm not at my smartest right now.)

Yes.

In alpha or alphax txt files in the SMAC/x directory there is an entry in #rules. There are two settings there, one for the lower difficulties, one for the 3 highest.

Looks like this and it is towards the front:

BUncle, please make sure to take care of your self by getting enough sleep. I probably do not need to say that two weeks of sleep deprivation sounds like it would be bad for a persons' overall well being. :). Also, I will definitely take the advice you have given me.

I usually manage six hours or so - I'm sleepy and headachy a lot, but that's plenty enough to keep from exhaustion or going crazy.  This is pretty normal for me when I'm in an especially energetic mood.  I sleep until I wake up. y'know?  Thanks for your concern.
