Nothing much. Working in a [poop]kitchen, thinking of quitting almost every day... But I'm probably gonna get steady employment here (not to mention I get free entry and rides for me and my family at the amusement park our hotel is connected to) but still... There is no structure, our head chef just sits in the office and gets angry when he has to cook something. He doesn't know the kitchen or our dishes for [poop], he can't even order the stuff we need even though he's the one who wrote the menu... Our schedule is the most [intercourse]ed up schedule I've ever seen and we've wanted a change for several months now to no avail. We're constantly one chef short (hence the [intercourse]ed up schedule) and one chef resigned a few days ago. That has made the management run around like headless chickens and now  there's suddenly no problem changing the schedule. Imagine that... The food we cook is quite boring and the pay is [poop]... Other than that I'm quite content... ;)

That's just the job. I trust the rest of your life is great?  ;)

(Well, THAT made a little work for me - I gotta do something about the swear filter.)

So - free, employed/homed and healthy.  Could be worse.

Believe me. I used to work in kitchens in the French Quarter in New Orleans. Those guys could not only out cuss an Irish man, but out drink one as well. I understand.

Sometimes the swear filter or a mod gets me, too.

It's good except my drinking buddy and fellow chef moved to Stockholm. He got accepted into The Royal Institute of Technology, so he's gone for at least 3 years. Maybe he'll come back to Gothenburg and do his masters at Chalmers... And another friend went to Vietnam last week, but she'll be back next year. Damn kids, that's what I get for hanging out with 20somethings... ;)

I hear that.

Did you ever do anything with that dishes named for moons of Jupiter (or whatever it was) idea?

Something you said about a moon or planetoid, commenting on a science article, and I suggested theme dishes and you said you were going to do that?  It's been a while.
