Some of my favourites are the one for the Planetary Transit system, Organic Superlubricant, The Longevity Vaccine, Network node qoute, and the Ascetic virtues are also pretty cool. I also really liked the Universal translator, and found the Cloudbase academy to be pretty kick ass.Or you can simply name them. How stupid of me.
Though, the one that always gives me chills is probably the Self Aware colony.
Oh, it is. But depressing in a.. way which feels right, if that makes sense. Seeing something you try to avoid as it is, and coming to terms with mortality.
I was a bit of a strange 10 year old when playing this first I guess.
Don't feel bad, I started playing SMAC when I was 11. So you are not the only one who felt that way.
Huh. I was in my mid 30s...
You all make me feel old :(
You all make me feel old :(
Now, don't be sad. I'd like to think there's still something to look forward to when I hit my fifties. :)

Ha..ha... yeah.. 50's...
What if I told you I was older... :(
;morgan; :danc:That's the one that comes with the Dream Twister, right? I'm pretty sure it's mean to be creepy, as a way of showing that the personnel at Assassin's Redoubt went crazy.
Get of land you Peacekeeping son-of a...
I never really GOT the assassins redoubt one. What's it supposed to mean?

1. "The righteous need not cower before the drumbeat of human progress. Though the song of yesterday fades into the challenge of tomorrow, God still watches and judges us. Evil lurks in the datalinks as it lurked in the streets of yesteryear. But it was never the streets that were evil."
(Shows that she's not really as anti-science as you'd think. Cautious and suspicious, but not really anti-science.)
Could be - I spend so much time here playing nice that I'm starting to think I'm a good guy...
Dio, coincidentally, I was thinking last week that we could use the occasional casual topic thread in here, (some people I've tried to recruit in the past said we looked TOO hardcore for them) so I really appreciate you doing this kind of thread.

I think a lot of Dio' s posts are pretty casual, this one included. Unless movies and minds worms are hardcore, now.
I think it's a compliment rather, in the sense he's stating your not a total hard case datajunky all the time. You are a hard case datajunky at times mind, but that's why we love you, we all have our roles and jobs we fill.
