Man; she was one of the prettiest ladies on TV when I was very little - she lit up Room 222 (which dates me, doesn't it?).

I wish this dated me...

Uhh. I'm not good with names, but wasn't that Karen Valentine on Room 222?  Or did Karen Black do a guest appearance? :-\

Crap; you're right.  What threw me was that it's a common enough mistake that Room 222 is an auto complete with Karen Black, and mostly you get pictures of Valentine.  I feel dumb.

Easy Rider...

Um...I don't know, I mostly know the scream queen stuff.

In the early 70's, I recall that kind of confusion, actresses with similar names and not terribly different appearances, being somewhat common.  There was also Lesley Anne Down & Lesley Ann Warren and former Miss Americas Lee Remick & Lee Meriwether - all of whom had career peaks around that time.  Tough to keep straight.  I actually googled all those to be sure.

Uh, yes, it was confusing back then, as opposed to now, when I don't even know the names of the beautiful stars, because I don't care.

I don't know why my memory for celebrity trivia is a good as it is -Room 222 was 42 years ago when I was six, so even getting that wrong is doing pretty good- but it inexplicably is.  I would gladly take on some minimal facility with math over being able to name Britney Spear's parents off the top of my head, but no, it's Jamie and Lynn, and I flunked algebra, not because I didn't understand it, but from constant errors in my arithmetic.
