Title: Planet's Accent

I recently heard an audio excerpt from an interview with a woman who spoke almost exactly like Planet. Unfortunately, I don't recall the source of the interview, but it does reveal to me that Planet's voice is absolutely based on a few real life exotic accents.

It has some flavors of Turkish (overall) and Persian (in the T's, Z's, and D's).

Does anyone have any ideas?

It's in the Credits from the game: Alena Kanka if I read the name correctly.
To see for yourself, just let the credits roll in the intro screen. First comes all the credits for SMACX, thereafter comes SMAC.

I've always thought that Planet sounds Indian and some quick googling showed that Kanka is an Indian and Pakistani surname. However, there seems to be Kankas in Slovenia and Austria, too. I'd bet my money on India, though.

EDIT: Persian is spoken in India, too, of course. Might be a Hindi accent, might be a Persian accent.
