Title: The Longest Lunar Eclipse in 100 Years Happens This Friday, But There’s a Catch

Opening paragraph:
"Get out your binoculars and your passports — that is, if you want to catch the longest total lunar eclipse of our lifetimes (https://abcnews.go.com/International/longest-total-lunar-eclipse-21st-century-coming-friday/story?id=56718699). Well, at least, of the century. On Friday, the celestial event (https://www.digitaltrends.com/cool-tech/best-super-blue-blood-moon-photos/) will turn the moon from its normal pearly white into a beguiling red orange for more than 100 minutes, NASA says. But the bad news? It won’t be  visible from North America. If you want to catch sight of this historic (and likely stunning) event, you’ll need to be in the Middle East, south or eastern Africa, or western and southeast Asia and India. And even then, you’ll have to hope that the weather holds."

I'll be working (indoors, far from windows) anyway.  It's mildly reassuring that the whole continent misses out on this one, unlike that tease of a solar eclipse that thought it was too good to be visible from FL.

100 minutes is way too long for a lunar eclipse. The moon and sun really need to get their act together.

OP forgot to mention Europe. That is, if it wasn't the cloudiest sky I've seen over a month at my place.
