Title: site goes dead periodically

Anyone else notice sometimes they're writing up something in the forum, then the whole site will just go dead?  Can't connect to it at all.  It's not computer specific, any computer in the house has the same problem.  There's no pattern to when it happens, and things eventually go back to normal.  I'm not sure how long the duration of the deadness is.  This last one was about 10 minutes, but I think there have been longer intervals.

Our host sucks - I decided to move several years ago, but it's way over my personal tech paygrade, and I've yet to persuade the co-owner or either of our tech guys to blow a week on the deal.
