Title: How Many SMAC/SMAX Things Do You Own?

I am a complete Morganite  ;morgan; , if they sold Richard Baxton/Recon Rover Rick merchandise I would buy that too, but so far I own

* Tube of Organic Superlube (j/k)

I think I'm missing Vel's Strategy Guide and the offensively useless Prima Strategy guide for published materials.  Has there been anything else?  What do you own?

I have three physical copies of SMAC and two of SMAX.  Nothing like your collection.

Got me beat Royally in Spades.

I've just got the 'riginal CD (which I haven't been able to locate recently since the 'move'...) and the PP CD which I purchased on a rare holiday from Chiron, when I discovered that for us Europeans EA seemed to have jumped to a 'gold edition'

Either that or more likely I had been so immersed in SMAC that I never noticed the Crossfire issue..

I DO remember that when I first played SMAC demo, the very first faction I chose was The Morganites.
Loved it, but don't play them so often these days -- more of a Gaian nowadays.

Considering how the graphic novel fragments that I saw had Morgan/Deirdre luurve at the point of a gunbarrel -- how would you feel about a game?  ;D

* 1 SMAC boxed edition with the printed manual.
* 1 SMAC jewel-cased edition with the pdf manual.
* 1 Planetary Pack jewel-cased edition (no manual).
* 1 Prima SMAC Strategy Guide. Not much in there about strategy, but otherwise very useful for me. Well-worn, with some pages falling out but none missing.
* Several downloaded documents and utilities.

I had that exact same guide! It was indeed very useful, and helped me early on.

We also had a boxed Planetary Pack... dunno what happened to most of it, though. I know the disc got scratched bad, though. :(

I also remember the SMAX manual actually rambling on a bit as to how terrified the pirates could become, however. :D

Only 4:  got SMAC (box) off eBay, later got the Planetary Pack (no box - but I was more concerned about having the tech tree foldout, and to a lesser extent the manual).

Vel's SMAX Guide, version 4.0.

SoldOut Software SMAC Complete.

I've only got the original SMAC disk, and I bought the expansion online. I want to get the books.

Just 1 normal and 1 expansion disk, and the official strategy guide.  (Am not a big spender on game extras in general, apart from some soundtracks.)
