Like that's how old the characters are? My brother still calls me Beavis occasionally.

Yes.  In the episode when Beavis ran into a trashcan and dreamed he died and went to Hell -if it was a dream- the gatekeeper of Heaven's book of life had him born 1 January 1980.  You know Butthead was born at the same time in the next room...
