Sorry no one used horned helmets. It was a great way to get killed in battle.
The re-enactors were crushed when they were told they couldn't wear their
horned helmets anymore.

That helmet is actually pretty accurate. Viking helmets typically had the eye guards like that.
If you had horns on your helmet you could get your neck broken with a blow to one of the horns.
Or have it become unbalanced and useless.
