Title: Will the "Sit in" do anything?

This going to really do anything? 


PERSONALLY, I'm all for a rather common sense no selling to someone on the list as a general concept...but there needs to be some way of appealing your name being on the list.  I know a lot of people who get flagged because they share a name with someone or are otherwise on the list erroneously.

Pointless until the list itself is improved.  Ted Kennedy was on it for years (and, although I really dislike his politics, that is no reason to have him on a terror watch list).  Remember what that list is for, and what it is now trying to be used for - very different functions.

Make a new list - no gun sales list - and set up a way for people to appeal being on it.  Then let anybody convicted of a crime be put on it automatically, and allow law enforcement to add people to it as well (must have a reason people are added, though), and as long as there is a fairly direct and non-complicated way people can appeal - sounds good.
