Title: How many miles on your car?

Commercial on the way in claiming anything over 100k mileage is 'borrowed time'. 

Personally had a 350+ car and 2 die around 150k, but both of those had been in accidents which probably played a part in their demise.  (one ran fine prior to the accident and probably should have been totaled.) Presently at ~70k on mine and Kyle's, hEt's would be under 50.

152k on our 02 Dodge Caravan. She's a little leaky but still going strong.

I was living in Utah for 12 years, and had 4 cars over there. My first was Mercury Sable, which I was using for 4 years. When I bought it, it had already 100k, and during 4 years I had to pay $2,000 for repairs. And that was not so expensive as now I think about it, since with the cost of its purchase, I spent around $1,200 per year.
It failed (automatic transmission) after 141k.
Two other lasted till 140-150k, as I recall. One was Volkswagen Jetta, made in West Germany and with manual transmission. The other one was Chevy Corsica. The Corsica was fun, once I lent it to my friends, they were afraid for their lives when driving on highway... automatic transmission.

On junkyard I got $70 for Jetta. Several years later, due to China investing in metals, I got $240 for Corsica. I was a bit surprised then, when suddenly I got these two hundred bucks more.

My current car, which I've had for 7 years, has a little over 80,000 miles on it. My previous car I bought used, and it had something like 120,000 miles, which I put a few more thousand on before it became too expensive to maintain.
