Title: New computer for Nik

So my old, trusty desktop is dying. It started with an occasional BSOD, which I could fix by reinstalling a driver that Windows kept overwriting every now and then, initiating the BSOD. Then new BSODs came. Kmode something. Memory management something. Critical system failure something. A lot of somethings. I've found out at the very least my memory is failing, most probably also my mobo.

So today, after a few days searching online shops and asking friends on the internetz and real life for help, I've ordered new parts. I keep my two SSDs, my three HDDs, my cabinet and my trusty, old DVD drive. I'm also keeping my Radeon HD6870 card for the time being, it works and I would need to put a lot of money into a new card for it to be worth it. Turns out it's not that bad performance wise, old as it might be.:)

This is what I'm getting:

Corsair CX750M 750W (798 NOK)
Asus B150-Pro D3 mobo (969 NOK)
Kinston DDR3 2x8GB (913 NOK)
Intel Core i5 6600 3,3 GHz Socket 1151 Box (2 289 NOK)

For a total of ca 5000 NOK, which is ca 563 USD. Not bad.:) But I really had needed those money elsewhere.
